He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn E. Scott and Pearl Agatha Scott (Hoban); his niece Brenda Harper; and his nephew Troy Timmerman. He is survived by: his wife Lois Adell Knickerbocker of Waukon, IA; his children, Lynn Earl Scott of New Mexico, Debbie Vargas (Levon) of New Mexico, Suzanne Barela (Brian) of New Mexico, Tracey Trujillo (Larry) of New Mexico and Patrick Scott of New Mexico; his nieces and nephews, Wally Ellefson (Chris) of Waukon, LaVern Timmerman (Kim) of Lansing, IA, Frank Garrow of Holmen, WI and Jeremy Jones (Melissa) of Cresco, IA; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kai, Zoey Timmerman, Gabby, Avery, Frankie Garrow, Grace Jones, Alex, Hannah and Jonathan Harper. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
