He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert W. Cooper and Ruth Cooper (Kugel); and his brother-in-law Garry Snyder. He is survived by: his former spouse Erlyss Burroughs; his sisters, Anaruth Snyder of Waterloo, IA and LaVerna Benzkofer of Houston, TX; and his girlfriend Marcia Solem of Decorah. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; 11 great-nieces and nephews.
