He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lane and Marjorie Lane (Duggan Gazlay); his wife Helen Strozewski; his brother Larry Gazlay; and his sister-in-law Diane Lane.

He is survived by: his son Derik Lane of Loveland, CO; and his brothers, Kent Lane of Pine Island, FL and Bill Gazlay (Debbie) of Georgia.
