She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Ross and Elizabeth Ross (Libby); her husband Billy Ward; her son-in-law Scott "Butch" Slaughter; and her siblings, Frances Turner, Edna Brill, Agnes Caldwell, Mary Jacobs, Helen Curtis, Charles, Herbert, Virgil and Harley Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Slaughter of Dolan Springs, AZ, Jerry Ward (Sandra) of Waukon and Steve Ward (Margaret) of Waukon. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
