He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Palmer (Miller); and his grandparents, Lee Palmer, Barbara Palmer Bergeson (Howard), Fred, Marge Miller, Byron and Esther Thomas.
He is survived by: his father Greg Palmer; his wife Stephanie Palmer (Menne); his children, Madalyn, Emma, Keagan and Sophia; his stepmother Marlene Palmer of Waukon; his siblings, Chris Ellickson (Lee) of Waukon, Beth Heydn (Brian) of Columbia, MO, Ross Palmer (Krissy) of Gretna, NE, John Palmer (Meghan) of Waukon and Aaron Palmer (Rachael) of Decorah; his parents-in-law, Richard and Kathy Menne of West Union; and his siblings-in-law, Jason Menne (Sara) of Postville, Amy Ihde (Mike) of West Union and Marc Menne (Susan) of West Union. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and several great-niece and nephews.
