He is survived by: his children, Rachael Kastler (Troy) of Woolstock, IA, Missy Carolus (Darin) of Waverly, IA and Amber Hageman (Corey Kobbervig) of Waukon; his siblings, LuJayne Hovey (George), Betty Jo DeWalle and Alvin DeWalle (Lisa) of Texas; his grandchildren, Brooke, Gunnar Grotegut, Nathan, Jordan Kastler (Ben), Brady (Lindsey Jackson), Dallas (Maddy Moser), Autumn Hageman (Jacub Steiber), Andrew Carolus and Desiree Baumler (Derek); and his great grandchildren, Zayne, Maison and Quinnleigh Howe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
