He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kiesau and Nettie Louise Kiesau (Nagel); his stepdaughter Lisa Hageman; and his sisters-in-law, Rita and Jeannie Kiesau.
He is survived by: his former wife Dora Jean Thorton; his son Steve Kiesau (Sue) of Caledonia, MN; his significant other Loretta Oakland of Waukon; his grandchildren, Shannon, Matt, Carla Kiesau, Amanda Weed, Devin Hermanson, Danon and Dawson Hageman; his stepdaughter Lori Oakland of Des Moines, IA; and his brother Dean Kiesau of Madison, WI.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
