She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Larkin and Nora Larkin (Griffin); her husband Donald Whalen; her children, Patrick (Karen), Thomas Whalen (Laurie) of Dawsonville, GA, Joseph Whalen (Tina) of Crawfordsville, IA and Jerry Whalen (Kris) of Eugene, OR; her sister-in-law Lee Whalen Dubuque of Iowa; her children, Rita Whalen and Dennis Whalen; her siblings, Albert, Aloysious, Michael, James Larkin, Mary Larkin, Dorothy Larkin, Katherine Dean and Jeannette Vetter; and also Bridget McLaughlin. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
