It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Kerndt (Waukon, Iowa), born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Donald Kerndt. He is survived by: his parents, Brad Kerndt and Mary Kerndt (Sivesind); his sister Katie Kacher (Brendon); his grandparents, Patsy Kerndt, Frank and Carol Sivesind; and his aunts and uncles, Dan (Jane Sivesind), Terry (Lori Anderson), Peggy Sivesind (Perry Fahey) and Dave (Julie Hawes). He is also survived by many loving cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Waukon Fire Department, Zalmona Cemetery, or Lansing Ridge Cemetery.
