He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Palmer and Laura Palmer (Flage); his wife Patrecia Collins; his daughter Kelly Palmer; his brothers, Stan (Dodie), Curt (Arlene) and Neal Palmer (Shirley); and his sister-in-law Earlene Collins.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Palmer (Marcy) of Monona, IA and Scott Palmer of Florida; his grandchildren, Mike Palmer (Janice) of Monona, Amanda Palmer of Iowa City, Nick Palmer of Monona, Nathan Palmer (Sabrina) of Florida and Lucas Palmer of Waukon; his great grandchildren, Lance, Hailey and Trey; his sisters, Joan Leiran (Richard) of Waukon and Judy Hastert (Chuck) of Green Bay, WI; and his brother-in-law Eugene Robert Collins, Jr. of Tulsa, OK..
