She was predeceased by: her parents, John Donohoe and Mary Donohoe (Holland); her son Michael; her sisters, Shirley Burnett and Lois Kral; her nephew Dennis Kral; and her brothers-in-law, Milo Kral, Wayne Hull and Don Burnett.
She is survived by: her husband Leon Shaw; her children, Robert Shaw (Lisa) and Marita Vogel (Kurt); her grandchildren, Alex Shaw and Brooke Vogel (Johnny Baires); her great grandchild Jonathon Baires; and her siblings, Larry Donohoe (Janet), Mary Kay Hull, Bob Donohoe (Tammy), Dick Donohoe (Val), Bill Donohoe (Chere), Kathy Wombacher (Jack) and Jim Donohoe. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (510 E 1st St, Ankeny, IA 50021). A rosary was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the Ankeny Memorial Gardens (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023).
