Ronald Joe Bower Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Joe Bower of Waukee, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elwyn Bower and Alice Bower (Kinsey); his sons, Matt Bower of Urbandale and Scott Bower (Courtnie) of Chandler, Arizona; his granddaughter Nayelli Bower; and his siblings, Robert Bower (Cindy), Randy Young (Salena), Linda Wesley and Richard "Rick" Bower. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Hope (925 Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to enjoy the outdoors, share a story with a friend, or lend a hand to someone in need, just as Ron would always do!
