He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Clint (Kristi); his pets, Cocoa, Nip and Smoky; his wife Kathy; his mother Jean Stephens; his siblings, Kellie Eilers (Larry) and Lance Stephens (Rosemarie); his mother-in-law Betty Hanson (Melvin); his brother-in-law Jim Peterson (Kathleen); his father Roger Stephens Sr.; and his father-in-law Robert Peterson.

Memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Roger's memory.
