He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Sloan and Ralph Sloan; and his sisters, Donna Smith and Shirley Ford. He is survived by: his children, Robin McAlister (Jim), Rita Rice (Ron) and David Sloan (Candy); his grandchildren, Hannah Van Roekel, Sara Schmeling, Jacob, Kale, Noah McAlister, Lilly Rice, Jaxon, Leah Sloan, Cody, Abigail and Madison Feller; his siblings, Larry Sloan (Jan) and Carolyn Mitchell; and his close friend Mary Buckman.
