He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Azinger and Loretta Azinger; and his siblings, Herman (Pat), Tom, William (Bill) and Donna.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Kearns; his children, Kevin (Connie), Kirk (Lisa), Rich (Janet), Todd (Stefanie) and Jennifer (Bob); and his brother Roy (Liz). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calendar St Boniface Catholic Church (1200 Warrior Ln, Waukee, IA 50263). A rosary was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar St. Boniface Catholic Church (1200 Warrior Ln, Waukee, IA 50263). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Croix Hospice of West Des Moines.
