He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Ridout and Flossie Ridout (Shearer); his sons, Kenny Ridout and Ron Hubbs; and his brothers, Wendell Ridout and Gary Ridout.
He is survived by: his spouses, Linda Cresup and Betty Ridout of Waukee; his children, Craig Ridout of Waukee, Kevin Ridout (Betty) of Cumming, Kristie Nielsen (Kevin) of Mingo and Brandon Hubbs; his siblings, Bill Ridout (Evelyn) of Lorimor and Karen Jordan (Tim) of Clive; his sister-in-law Kathleen Ridout of Lorimor; his grandchildren, Nick Kirschbaum, Nathan Kirschbaum, Camille Mueller, Brandon Hubbs, Luke Hubbs, Kent Nielsen and Alyssa Flanagan; and his great grandchildren, Sophie DeNai, Caden Flanagan, Kyler Flanagan, Ava Kirschbaum, Payton Mueller, Dylan Nielsen, Jackston Kirschbaum, Kenley Flanagan, Chloe Kirschbaum, Nathan Hubbs and Rosie Hubbs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
