It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia L. Young (Waukee, Iowa), born in Maxwell, Iowa, who passed away on December 3, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Welch and Gilberta Welch (Volz); her husband Jerry Young; her brother Richard Welch; and her stepgrandchildren, Richard and Andrea.
She is survived by: her children, Sheri Shipman (Rick) of Edmond, OK, Shelly Kuble (Chris) of Grimes, IA, Lisa Young of Waukee, Iowa, Rick Young (Cheryl) of Grimes, IA and Mark Young (Dinah) of Earlham, IA; her brothers, Bob Welch (Miriam) of Iowa Falls, IA, Jim Welch (Geri) of Clive and Larry Welch (Teri) of Eureka Springs, AR; her sister-in-law Janice Young of Knoxville, IA; and her sisters, Cathy Schuster (Dick), Linda Christiansen (Chris) of Portales, NM and Jean Kelly of Cascade, AZ.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
