Nan S. Haler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nan S. Haler (Waukee, Iowa), born in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 19, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Scherer and Ellen Scherer (Johnson); and her siblings, Dorothy Ward and Robert Scherer. She is survived by: her children, JoEllen Martin of Waukee, Robert T. Cannon of Urbandale and Thomas L. Cannon (Pamela) of Brooksville, FL; her stepsons, Glenn L. Haler, Jr of Phoenix, AZ and Kenneth L. Haler of Leadville, CO; her sister Karen Boran (Ed) of State College, PA; and her grandchildren, Alissa Swanstrom (Alec), Brian Martin (Vicky), Corrie Boudewyn (Matt), Kendra, Cassidy Cannon, Phillip, Emilie Cannon, Mark Rupp, Michael Haler (Tracy), Alex, Caitlin and Andrew Haler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
