We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2020, at the age of 43, Matthew Handeland (Waukee, Iowa), born in Durango, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Dan Handeland; his grandparents, Earnest, Mary Margaret Skattebo, Lester and Lois Handeland; and his uncle Jim Skattebo.
He is survived by: his mother Jeanne Handeland (Skattebo) of Wallingford; his siblings, Mark (Keith Lee) of Minneapolis and Jen (Wes Snyder); his nieces, Ella and Ava; his nephew Tyse of Colfax; his aunts, Peggy Skattebo of Colorado Springs and Donna Handeland of Estherville; his uncle Tim; and his great-aunts, Maxine Skattebo, Carol Kropf, Lenora Kropf and Alice Olson. He is also survived by many cousins, and a large group of friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
