She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son John Schmidt (Samantha); her granddaughter Sebastian Schmidt of Waukee; her daughter Shannon Schmidt of Ankeny; and her brothers, Barry Barnes (Donna) of Sedalia, MO and Jeffrey Barnes (Rebecca) of Marshall, MO. She was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces.
