It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Seid of Waukee, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Seid and Lefea Seid (Farr); his wife Charlene (Kahler); and his siblings, Lois, Pauline, Norma and Wayne Willett.

He is survived by: his sons, Steve (Carol) of Des Moines and Scott (Kelli) of Verona; his grandchildren, Nicole Romey (Mike), Katie Taylor (Mike), Sam Seid and Harry Seid; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Karns (Leah) and Jacque Butzke (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Levi Taylor, Reuben, Jovie, Lincoln Butzke, Talon and Tyler Karns. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
