It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Eugene Sorensen of Waukee, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawo "Red" Sorensen and Marian Sorensen. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Van't Hul (Jon) of Waukee; his siblings, Myrna Sorensen (Marvin) of Sioux City, IA, Harry Sorensen of Norfolk, NE and Dee Farrell (Randy Buchheit) of Cresco, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Sorensen (Aimee) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Tony Sorensen (Laura) of Sioux Falls, SD, Melanie Smith (Nick) of Iowa City and Amanda Buchanan of Norfolk, NE. He is also survived by five great-nephews and two great-nieces.
