We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2021, at the age of 74, Gary P. Bagby of Waukee, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary P. Bagby to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Bagby; and his parents, Louis and Josephine. He is survived by: his children, Michael Bagby (Julie), Thomas Bagby (Michelle) and Jennifer Taylor (Andrew); and his grandchildren, Lauren, Olivia, Abigail and Zachary. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

“Dear Michael, Thomas, Jennifer, and family: It was with much sadness that we recently learned of the passing of your father and our good friend and colleague, Gary Bagby. I served as one of the vice principals at Abraham Lincoln High School from 1980 to 1987 and had many wonderful conversations, observations, and respect for Gary.. Gary was a wonderful teacher, dept chair, and NCA coordinator for the school. Gary was highly respected by both students & staff.”
