It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Joseph Szwabo of Waukee, Iowa, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Szwabo and Harriet Szwabo (Halley); his sister Shirley Ann Szwabo; and his wife Theresa Szwabo. He is survived by: his daughter Marielena Paulsen (Scott); his grandsons, Joseph, Nicholas and Andrew Paulsen; and his sister Margie Lippmann. He is also survived by his family and friends.
