She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Samson and Fern May Samson (Van Sickle); her sister Patricia Miller (Robert); her son Jeff Thomas; her grandson Brandon Hooker; and her son-in-law Michael Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Thomas (Sandy) of Nevada, Julie Olson of McCallsburg, Bradley Baumann of Marshalltown and Kimberley Baumann of Des Moines. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; and her 3 great-grandchildren.
