Bessie Stanley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie Stanley (Waukee, Iowa), who passed away on May 12, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavina Kissel (Dimp) and Roy Kissel; her husband Dick Stanley; her sister Betty; and her brother-in-law Harry Hammond.
She is survived by: her former husband Raymond Stanley (Dick); and her children, Gary Stanley (Brenda) of Waukee, IA, Becky Bizzell (Ron) of Waxahachie, TX and Richard Stanley (Laura) of Des Moines. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the Covid19 pandemic and community regulations a graveside service only will be performed at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Des Moines directed by Hamilton Funeral Home, South.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Park Avenue Christian Church, Des Moines and the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
