It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvin Lee Jacobsma of Waukee, Iowa, born in Hospers, Iowa, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Horton Jacobsma and Anne Jacobsma (Vander Lee); his former wife Mary Determaan; his brothers, Searle and John; and his sons-in-law, Frank Arnold and Steve Jorgensen.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Murray of Waukee, IA; his children, Laurie Arnold of Waukee, IA, Romain Jr. of Waukee, IA, Cindy Quedzuweit (Armin) of Clinton, IA, Rick Hicks of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Shannon Witherspoon of Omaha, NE and Christina Hicks of Sioux City; and his sisters, Freda Dickey of Nebraska City, NE and Mildred Hastings of San Paseo, AZ. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
