Wilma Johnson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2024, at the age of 90, Wilma Johnson of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Martin and Rose Thornton (McNeeley); her former husband Donald A. Johnson; her siblings, Barbara Wike, Minnie Warner, Bonnie Pontisso, Patricia Watson, Colleen Knouf, Karen Freeman, Deloris Thornton and Eddie Thornton (Linda); her stepson Craig Johnson; and her great grandchild Dylan Thorp.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Milton Hennick; her children, Denise Dunn (Bob) of Waterloo, Mark Hennick of Waterloo, Michael Hennick (Denise) of Pleasant Hill, Rhonda Sayles of Waukee, Paula Hagenson (Steve) of Waverly and Susan Jackson (Bill) of Fort Myers, FL; and her sister Shirley Havens of Des Moines. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
