We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2024 we had to say goodbye to William Volkamer of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Volkamer and Cloryne Volkamer (Whyte); his wife Ileen J. Johnson; his son Billy; and his sister Sue Shepard.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Ryan Thyer of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Austin Packard, Courtney Packard, Noah Thyer of Waterloo and Samantha Volkamer of Shawnee, KS; his great grandchildren, Rowan and Payton; and his sister Patricia Stanford of Honolulu', HI. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
