He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Dauth and Minna Dauth (Stiehler); his former wife Peggy L. Freeman; his siblings, Heinrich, Helmut Dauth, Rudy Stiehler and Erna Jähnert; and his nephew Mike Marcussen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Emily Jeffrey (Isaiah) of Wilsonville, OR and Anne Williams (Clinton) of Branson, MO; his grandchildren, Cameron Thorgesen, Jillian Dauth, Jayden Jeffrey, Jacob Lipe, Hope Williams and Chase Williams; his sister Elfride Marcussen (Henry Jones) of Prairie du Chien, WI; and his nephews, Duane Dauth, Andy Marcussen and Dennis Marcussen. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
