With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wesley W. Schons of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Schons and Margaret Bauler Schons; his wife JoAnn Thoma (Raymond); his children, Tamara Dahlgren (Carl) of Leawood, Kan, Shelley Kristensen (Gary) of Johnstown, Leyann Brown (Darren) and Vince (Tami) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Leyann, Lauren, Abby, Hannah, Matthew, Bennett and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Graham and Carson; his sisters, Carolyn Becker (John) of Jesup, Dotty Weber (John) of Bettendorf and Elaine Tracy (Rick) of Lake Ozark; his sister-in-law Dianne Schons of North Liberty; and his siblings, Allan Schons and Audrey Dostal (Bernie).

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the public is asked to wear face masks while attending either the visitation or the funeral mass.
