He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Riechmann and Caroline Drier Riechmann; his spouse Violena Mae Sommerfelt; his son Calvin; his daughter-in-law Jeani Riechmann; and his siblings, Alfred, Henry, Ervin and Eleanora Junker.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Riechmann of Independence, Zelda Kramer (Everett) of Brooklyn, Jean Day (Rick) of Waterloo and Sue Jacoby of Waterloo; and his sister-in-law Arlene Necker of Independence. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
