It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter D. Petersen of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donn Petersen and Marjorie Petersen (Bolenbaugh). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen of Waterloo; his children, David Petersen (Nettie) of Waverly, Gary Petersen of Punta Gorda, FL, Sue Lang of Waterloo and Mike Petersen of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Jacob, Kyrstn, Megan and Becca; and his cousin John Bolenbaugh of Wisconsin.
