She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Sherbon and Hazel Mae Sherbon (Price); her son Barry Eastman; and her siblings, Lucy Boyce, John, Gerald and Robert Sherbon.
She is survived by: her former husband George P. Eastman; her husband Daniel D. Gerst; her children, Pam Simons (Shelley) of Waterloo and Jeff Eastman of Waterloo; her stepdaughters, Angela Green (Rick) of Colorado and Tammy Scott of Florida; and her sister Barbara Mark (Vic) of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by two grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private family services will be held with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls.
