He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rodney L. Risse and Renae Koutsy; his aunts and uncles, Steve Risse (Nancy) of Dysart, IA, Mike Risse (Tammi) of Waterloo, Bonnie Landan (Kevin) of Waterloo and Kathy Risse of Denver, IA; his pet Lola; his uncle Robert Risse; and his grandparents, Kenneth and Carrie Risse (Ritchie).

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church – Barclay (7830 E Airline Hwy, Dunkerton, IA 50626). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be directed to th Iowa Heart Association or an animal shelter of the donor's choice.
