He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Borwig, Emily Perry and Dorothy Clemons; and his daughter-in-law Gayle Borwig. He is survived by: his parents, Albert Borwig and Emma Myer Borwig; his spouse Norma M. Bartlett; and his sons, Tony Borwig of Knoxville and Gary Borwig (Marcia) of Dike. He is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
