He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Helgeson and Sandra Helgeson (Sailor). He is survived by: his girlfriend Melinda Flores of Evandale; his children, Nathan Helgeson of Marengo and Jessica Reedy (Derrick) of Evansdale; his grandchildren, Spencer (Sarah), Shayla and Brooklyn; his great grandchild Kayson; and his siblings, Bruce Helgeson (Cindi) of Dysart, Cindy Klenzman (Mark) of Waterloo and Susan Plagge (Kirk) of Idaho.
