He is survived by: his mother Nancy Murdock (Treloar) of Cedar Falls; his children, Justin Tietje of Leavenworth, Kansas, Kyleigh Hughes (Kevin) of Duvall, Washington and Stormie Tieje (Ricky) of San Diego; his wife Dawn Murdock of Waterloo; and his sisters, Cindy Spragg of Cedar Falls, Terry Murdock of Evansdale and Donna Klein (Rick) of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
