She is survived by: her stepfather Gary Simmerman; her fiancé Mike Hartema; her daughter Bobbi Jo (Aaron Brinyark); her grandchild Cedar Falls; her sons, Eric McLaughlin of Waterloo and Nathan McLaughlin of West Union; her stepson Tanner Hartema of Waukon; her grandchildren, Landyn, Westyn, Braelyn Brinyark, Ayden McLaughlin, Janie, Monroe and Easton Brymer; her brother Ken Simmerman of Waterloo; and her brother-in-law Kim Cordes of Waterloo.
