He was predeceased by: his father Verlyn Crook; his siblings, Dave Crook (Linda) and Mary Jo Rhoads; his niece Katrina Murray; and his nephew Brian Crook.
He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Bird Crook of Waterloo; his wife Stephanie Ranberger; his daughter Angila Hulen (Josh) of Manhattan, Kansas; his stepdaughter Cara Meyer (Tim) of Sumner; his grandsons, Steven Craig (Hannah) of Hugoton and Justin Craig of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his stepgrandchildren, Sgt. Keenan Gienau of Sumner, Kaden Meyer of Sumner, Keeley Meyer of Sumner and Kreed Meyer of Sumner; his great grandchildren, Tucker Craig and Lukus Craig; and his brother Dan Crook (Diana) of Waterloo.
