He was predeceased by: his parents, Daryl Strassburg and Janice Jacobson Strassburg; and his stepfather John Cole. He is survived by: his spouse JoAnn Jennings Hamman; his sisters, Staci Leatherman (Bob) of San Antonio, TX and Stefanie Johnson (Steve) of Holland, PA.; his grandchildren, Sequoia and Simeon; his stepmother Mary Strassburg of Waterloo; and his stepsiblings, Shellie Danielson (Troy) and Mark Strassburg (Niki). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Steve gave the gift of life through tissue donation.
