He is survived by: his former wife Jana Havelin; his significant other Barb Haas of Waterloo; his children, Stesha Drilling of Cedar Falls, Darlene Horstman of Cedar Falls, Amanda Gil of Cedar Falls, Kyle Drilling of Waterloo and Jacob Higuera-Drilling (Marina) of Dubuque; his grandchildren, Kayla Rohovit, Leiana Gil, Felix Mira and Aika Higuera-Drilling; and his siblings, Marty Drilling (Marie) of Waterloo, Jody Maxfield of Des Moines, Gina Wagner (George) of Norwalk, Peggy Drilling of Jesup, Maureen Apel (Andy) of Gilbertville, Rose Ivy of Evansdale, Mary Terry of Independence and Lilly Neessan. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
