It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Louise Mitchell in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mitchell and Charlie Mae Johnson; and her sister Willie Ann Johnson. She is survived by: her sons, Lavon T. Mitchell and Judson S. Collins of Waterloo; and her siblings, David L. Johnson of Jonesboro, AR, Talib Akbar of Madison, WI, Mary L. Johnson, George R. Mitchell and Delorse Mitchell. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and many friends.
