It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Newsom (Waterloo, Iowa), born in Elgin, Iowa, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wander and Edith Wander (Alton); her husband Wesley Charles Newsom; her sister Dorothy Kleppe; and her nephew Duane Kleppe.
She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Newsom (Fran) of Waterloo and Craig Newsom of Carlinville, Illinois; her granddaughters, Isabelle and Evangeline; her niece Donna Hammer; and her nephew David Kleppe.
