It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mae Merry (Waterloo, Iowa), who passed away on June 5, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William; her parents, Cecil Beard and Mabel Beard; and her siblings, Beverly, LaVerne, Clarence, Duane, Richard and Gary.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Merry (Janet) of Des Moines, Diane Peters (David), Randy Merry (Peggy) of Rochester, Karen Seko (Stephan) of Downers Grove and Sharon Geltz of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.
