She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Muhlenbruck and Gail Grace Muhlenbruck (Honeck); her husband Ronald "Bud" Porter; her son Todd Porter; her close friend Ernest "Bud" Jergens; her sister Shirley Elling; and her brother-in-law Dick Elling.

She is survived by: her former husband Ronald Dean Porter; her daughter Tami Porter-Tomkins of Tripoli; her grandchildren, Brett Roth (Christina) of Grimes and Amanda Tomkins of Waterloo; and her great grandchild Ty Roth of Grimes.
