With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sergio Galindo of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Los Angeles, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2024 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Sergio may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sergio touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Galindo and Luz E. Hernandez Galindo. He is survived by: his daughter Athena Martinez of Torrance, CA; his siblings, Jorge R. Galindo of Simi Valley, CA and Ruth Alvidres of Odessa, FL; and his nephews, Andrew Salas, Vince Ace Alvidres, Malachi Alvidres and Luke Alvidres.
