He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon A. Utsler (Sizemore); his stepfather Duane Gallmeyer; and his brother Shad Utsler. He is survived by: his father Robert "Terry" Utsler; his wife Luanne C Fankhauser; his stepmother Joyce Utsler of Waterloo, IA; his children, Sarah Fowler (Zach) of Independence, IA, Richard Hacker (Dana) of Waterloo, IA, Gary Stocks of Waterloo, IA, Julia Utsler of Waterloo, IA and April Utsler of Waterloo, IA; his grandchildren, Eli Berger, Jordyn Hacker and Preston Berger; and his brother Shane Utsler (Stacey) of Hudson, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
