He was predeceased by: his parents, John McRoberts and Betty McRoberts. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Aschbrenner (George); his children, Shane Aschbrenner of Waterloo and Kayla Leyh (Jordan) of Waterloo; and his grandchildren, Noah Aschbrenner, Jacob Quint and Addison Leyh. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (611 Fairview Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
