She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Delman Bowers and Ruth Condit Bowers; her spouse Larry Joens; her daughter Brenda Everman (Steve) of Hampton; her daughter-in-law Peggy Joens of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Morgan Thurman (Andy), Mason Everman, Kelli, Lindsey and Nick Joens; her great grandchildren, Vincent and Imogen Thurman; her niece Tina Hoeppner (Doug) of Evansdale; her siblings, Sue Halvorson (Ed) of Waterloo, Rick Condit (Kirstan) of Marshalltown and Bruce Bowers (Cathy) of Waterloo; and her son Bryan Joens. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
